Eventing Explained is a unique, all round view of how to start eventing for riders of all ages wanting to compete in their first affiliated horse trials. As well as being packed with top tips and exercises for riders in all three phases, it is also an ideal aid for parents or other halves of would-be event riders whose weekends will never be the same again once they hit the eventing circuit! A who's who section includes, amongst others, the responsibilities of the course designer, builder, secretary, regional coordinator and organiser in running a horse trials, and how their roles are relevant to a competitor. As well as information on getting your horse fit, there are also sections on rider fitness and sport psychology to prepare for the event and to do your best on the day. Colour-coded so you can pick out relevant sections at a glance, Eventing Explained is the must-have guide for riders wanting to compete at BE80, BE90 and BE100 level
For smaller parcels we use Royal Mail first class recorded and for larger parcels we use APC Couriers. Both services are based on a 48hour weekday delivery time for mainland UK addresses. If we receive your order by 1pm (Monday-Friday) we will dispatch the item that day. Exceptions - our couriers follow the English & Scottish Bank holiday dates, so deliveries and collections cannot be made over those dates. Due to the Corona Pandemic, our postage times will vary. If you place an order with us online, we will contact you to arrange delivery.
For International postage, we currently use royal mail small parcels, tracked/signed.
At this time, we are unable to dispatch items on Saturdays and Sundays.
For the security of your parcel, items cannot be left with neighbours or in a safe place. We accept that this may be inconvenient for some customers, but we believe this ensures YOU receive your' parcel and not someone else! If you need your item to be delivered to an address where you are able to accept it, please include this in the delivery option. Items must be sent back to us unused, in their original packaging and with all labels attached within 28 days of receipt. Please use a signed for service via a reputable courier, such as Royal Mail for smaller items and courier for larger item with adequate insurance to cover the value of the item. We cannot be held accountable, and therefore cannot offer a refund/exchange, if we do not receive the item.
To facilitate a speedy refund, please complete our RETURNS FORM, which should be included with your parcel. You are liable for all postage costs and these will not be refunded as part of the return. Refunds may take up to 7 days to be processed.
Christmas returns policy - We’ve extended our usual return time limit just for the festive season. Any item bought between 1 November and 24 December can be returned up until Monday 18 January.
