At just 16 years old, Abigail Gray has already achieved what many riders only dream of. Based in Aberdeen, Abigail is one of the brightest young talents in British dressage, combining natural ability with an extraordinary work ethic and a true passion for the sport.
Her partnership with the striking gelding George Clooney BS brought her onto the international stage, culminating in a fairytale 2024 season. She became FEI European Pony Champion, claimed the Kur to Music gold medal, and later rounded off her pony career with a commanding victory at the British Dressage National Championships.
Her performance at the Nationals was especially memorable, scoring an impressive 73.86% and earning high marks across the board – including a nine for her simple changes. These results confirmed Abigail’s place among Europe’s most exciting dressage riders.
Abigail is now stepping into the junior ranks and is already making her mark, representing Great Britain at the FEI Youth European Championships 2025 in Le Mans. Earlier competitions, such as Wellington CDI, demonstrated her ability to adapt and thrive against top-level international competition.
